PE-BHA:
Who we are and why we are here?
Port Edgar and area from the air.
AIMS
A principal objective of the Association is to work with the Edinburgh Leisure Marina Managers to promote the efficient and safe use of the facilities at Port Edgar. It is hoped that the Association can provide feedback from the berth holders and can join with the management team in identifying areas for development and improvement of the Marina facilities.
Edinburgh Leisure support Port Edgar Berth Holders Association and are committed to a programme of improvements at the Marina with a view to ultimately gaining RYA Charter Status recognition.
MEETINGS
The Committee meet on a regular basis throughout the year and the Minutes of their last 4 x meetings will appear on this website. If members wish to put forward any matters for discussion at these meetings, they should contact the Association’s secretary and, if appropriate, the item will be added to the next meeting’s agenda.
The Association can only deal with matters raised by members so we would encourage all berth holders and dinghy licence holders to join the Association (the membership fee is £3) and to feedback constructive comments to the Chairman, Secretary or other members of the PE -BHA Committee (see list of Committee Members below)
Any problems with the day-to-day services provided by the Marina should initially be directed to the Marina Management at the Marina Office.
The AGM will be held every year in March to which all members shall be invited. At the AGM, a report on progress will be made and the annual accounts submitted.
The Committee of the PE-BHA have been elected to represent the views of berth and licence holders and they can only carry out this representational role successfully if there is regular feedback from members.
HOW TO JOIN THE BERTH HOLDERS ASSOCIATION
